Children & Young People

Junior Church

In most Sunday services children in school years 1-5 leave church after the first 15-20 minutes for their own group

Creche

During the Sunday service babies and very young children can be looked after in the creche room, where there are toys and members of the church to supervise. However they are also very welcome to stay in church, where activity packs are available from the door stewards !

6-Up Youth group

Young people in school year 6 and above normally leave the service at the same time as younger children for their own group. They also have special activities such as breakfast before church (usually the start of term) and events with other youth groups

Holiday Club

Please note – Holiday Club 2025 We’re very sorry to share that we won’t be running Holiday Club this year. This has been a difficult decision, but due to a combination of factors – including limited availability of volunteers – we’re unable to deliver the programme in the way we would like.

We know how much families and children look forward to this each summer, and we truly appreciate your understanding. Thank you for your continued support, and we hope to be back in the future. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch

Normally held for a week during school summer holidays, the Holiday Club provides 5 mornings of varied activities including songs, games and crafts, for children aged 5-11 (who are split into groups by age). Free places are offered to any families on benefits.

Tuesday Toddler group

We have a Toddler Group, run by volunteers, for babies and children up to 4 years old. Open every Tuesday in term time from 9.30-11.30. Come and meet with other Parents/Carers and have fun with your little ones playing and doing craft. We tidy the toys away at 11.10 then enjoy singing and playing with the parachute, finishing at 11.30. Cost is £3.00 per family (includes refreshments) and advance booking would be appreciated – reserve your place here
