We take safeguarding seriously and we are committed to the safeguarding, care and nurture of the children and vulnerable adults within our church community. We are also committed to creating an encouraging environment where all people and especially those who may be vulnerable are able to worship and pursue their faith safely. All staff and volunteers involved with children’s activities and with vulnerable adults are required to undertake Methodist safeguarding training and to have DBS clearance.
Our safeguarding policy is approved by church council, the governing body. A copy is available from the church office
Our safeguarding officer is Katie Jefferies, who is the first point of contact for anyone with concerns or questions
